How much does a medical ID cost?
A MedibandPlus online medical ID costs $19 a year for one person (GST included), or $49 a year for a family of up to four — with no joining fee and no lock-in. By comparison, a traditional medical alert membership in Australia costs around $62 a year plus a one-off joining fee.

Are the prices GST inclusive?
Yes. Every price shown includes GST — the price you see is the price you pay. GST (10%) applies to Australian customers only; orders placed from outside Australia are not charged GST.
Is there a joining or setup fee?
No. There’s no joining fee — you only pay the yearly membership price.
How many people does the Family plan cover?
Up to four profiles, managed together in one account — ideal for a household or for a carer looking after several family members.
Can I pay for more than one year?
Yes. You can prepay two or three years up front and save — or simply renew at the one-year price each year. Prepaying is optional.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. There’s no lock-in contract.
Do I need to buy a Mediband product as well?
No. Your profile works with just your membership number or QR code. A Mediband wristband or card is optional, for a durable version you can wear.
